ACE Your Performance Review!
Attention: Are you feeling frustrated at work? You’re not succeeding at the pace you’re truly capable of (and know it!), and excellent opportunities don’t land on your desk? Then keep reading…
How You Can Quickly Place A Booster Rocket Under Your Performance At Work!
Let me reveal to You how I totally ACEd my Performance Review
to achieve career success, promotion and fulfilment, leading to the best career opportunities and cash bonuses…
In 2001, my career underwent an amazing turn for the better. I joined an organization that encouraged it’s employees to take responsibility for their career success. Rather than feeling that performance management was something inconveniently ‘done to me’, it became a practice where success and opportunity became there for the taking, as long as I was willing to perform to my full potential, and grab the opportunities that emerged. It soon became obvious that…
- Accepting responsibility for my performance at work really motivated me to do everything possible to succeed and grow.
- Demonstrating my performance at work produces the highest cash bonuses I have enjoyed to date!
- My Performance Review is now my vehicle for proving achievement and securing financial benefits.
- Almost overnight, I discovered I was dedicated to my career success. Are you?
What Most People Don’t Know…
Did you know that over 70% of people miss out on their opportunity to take full advantage of their performance reviews because they don’t follow some simple guidelines or know how to prepare for their Performance Appraisal? That’s 70% of people who don’t get top marks, who don’t impress their leaders, who don’t create the best career opportunities, and who don’t get their full bonus!
Don’t be in the 70%!
Wouldn’t you like to turn this around to become somebody who ACEs their Performance Review and get all these things, and more?
- Develop skills quicker
- Build trust with your leader easier
- Start and complete goals and objectives
- Receive opportunities to learn and develop that your colleagues won’t
- Enjoy better rewards
So just ask yourself – How will you ACE your Performance Review?
I started this blog to help you answer that question.
ACEing your performance review takes some preparation and focus, but it isn’t rocket-science! If you’re like many people I talk to you’ll be finding it difficult to learn how to prepare, and what to focus on! Most employers don’t help with that bit.
Once you know how, it’s a cinch! It’s not a magic formula or a secret society, but it is something that must be learned… and YOU can learn it! This blog carries many articles and tips on how to ACE Your Performance Review. These tips are gathered from my many years of being reviewed and reviewing others. They’re here for you to learn and use for yourself. I am confident you will find the articles on this blog useful so please spread the word and share them with your friends and colleagues, and also subscribe to my RSS feed.

I hadn’t thought about my performance review like this before, so thanks for enlightening me!
To be honest, I had seen my objectives as something I just had to do without seeing the benefit. I had lost faith in myself and was more focused on the day to day operation rather than thinking about my own development. I guess it’s easy to fall into that trap when we’re busy.
But now I am going to take them much more serious.

@Asif – glad to be of service to you my friend. You know, I hear similar stories almost daily when I am coaching people. Personal Development is often seen as something optional when we have a high workload. That’s why I created this course – I strongly believe that if I can help people develop and maintain high a level of productivity and performance I have to give them a solution that doesn’t create other problems! Hence why the CRASH COURSE is only five-days long and takes only 30 minutes per day – it could be done on the bus, train, or during a lunch break!

Thanks for your question Joan.
Day One’s course book discusses the purpose of a review with particular attention to what managers are *really* looking for when they conduct an appraisal. It also looks at the role of your manager and what you should expect from him/her. It concludes by painting a picture of the review process, clarifying some of the language and terms, and how you should begin to prepare for it to ensure that ‘all your ducks are in a row’!
You can also download a Free course overview which shows you what is in each of the 5 days course books using this link:

I bought your course Simon and I like that it is spread over 5 days. Will you be publishing it in one hit though? I have a friend who needs it immediately.

Hi Josip. Sure, I can send it to your friend in one hit. Suggest to your friend that they make a purchase through the standard route (upgrade the $1 trial) and ask them to let me know they want the whole course in one go – I will send it right away!
